Looking for Cockapoo rescues in Arkansas? These are the Cockapoo rescue dogs (and associated breeds) that are currently up for adoption in Arkansas. This list is currently only updated once a week as it takes time to collate the information on the cockapoo rescues in your area. The last update was performed on 27 April 2012.
Please note that the list may not be complete as not all the Cockapoo rescue dogs in Arkansas details are put on line. Contact your local dog rescue center to find out if they have (or know of) a Cockapoo rescue waiting to be adopted near you in Arkansas!
Why are there other dogs shown rather than just cockapoo rescues in Arkansas? Well, we only currently only search a small number of the animal shelters in Arkansas for Cockapoo rescues that are available for adoption and not all the shelters will have a Cockapoos. So rather than show nothing we show the breeds that are similar to the Cockapoo - all the dogs in the shelters in Arkansas need homing, can you see your next dog below?
Grace is rescued from Benton animal shelter, together with two other dogs: Hope and Faith. These three sweet dogs were surrendered to the shelter by local law enforcement because the owner became unable to continue to care for them. Grace does well with other dogs, and loves time spent with her human. A Poodle mix, she was just groomed and has a new puppy cut. Grace is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She weighs 8.5 pounds and is 5 to 6 years old. View this pet on Petfinder.com
Please contact Diana (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information about this pet.Hi everyone, my name is Twist and I am a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel mix. My foster mom says God mixed me perfectly because they don’t come any cuter than me. Mom told me I should tell you a little bit about myself, so here goes. I LOVE life!! I like chasing birds and squirrels around the yard (even though I have never caught one), I like exploring outside, going for walks, acting crazy with my foster siblings (human and doggie), playing with all kinds of dog toys, hanging out with the family, treats, and playing fetch with my ball. The only things I don’t like are getting shots at the vet; I am kind of a wimp when it comes to pain. I wake up each morning in a great mood and I will do my best to make you smile. The only thing that I want more than anything is a family that will love me forever. I am crate trained and am on my way to being housetrained.I love food and treats, I am highly motivated when around these delicious goodies, I could learn to do amazing things when these things are the rewards. I weigh 28 pounds, am neutered, up to date on all of my shots, and amheartworm negative. If you have any questions about me then please email my foster mom at: email@example.comPlease read more about the adoption process here: http://ootwrescue.org/adoptionprocessid47.htmlTo complete the online Adoption Application, click here: http://ootwrescue.org/adoptionapplicationid17.htmlApril 26, 2012, 8:43 pm View this pet on Petfinder.com
Tara is one of those dogs who always has a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter in Georgia, and is looking for a new family to call her own. We are unsure of breed mix, but we think she is either a Labradoodle or a Goldendoodle. She does shed, like many F1 (first generation) doodles. Tara LOVES to ride in the car, and is always up for an adventure. She is very friendly with other dogs and people, although she is a bit shy at first meeting, and will bark at strangers approaching her house....which is a good thing, in my opinion! She is good on leash, housetrained, knows sit, down, etc..we are still discovering things about her, as she has been traumatized by the upheaval in her life and will need some time and reassurance for her true personality to emerge. She has met a cat, and did stare at it, but diverted easily with correction. She has been around children as young as ten and was fine with them. She shows no food aggression at all; I was able to stick my hand into her food bowl without a reaction. She is treat motivated for sure! We think Tara is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative (and on preventative), up to date on all vaccines, and on flea and tick preventative. Tara is being fostered in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, where she is playing with small and large dogs alike! (and the c-a-t). So far no issues or problems have been observed. Tara's adoption fee is $250.00. Transport assistance is available at adopter's expense. Tara, like all large, sporting breed dogs, will need a securely fenced yard to play in when not indoors with her family. PLEASE, Fill out an Application. We are all volunteers and CANNOT ANSWER OTHER INQUIRIES without having an application on file. IF YOU ARE A MATCH FOR THE DOG, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED. Thank you for understanding. Tucker is a 3 year old neutered male Labradoodle with a low shed coat. His Mom is a black Standard Poodle, and Dad is a chocolate Lab. He's very sweet, playful and affectionate with a calm, laid back personality. He loves to play fetch, loves water, and is great with kids. He does fine with cats and female dogs, but DOES NOT MESH WELL WITH OTHER MALE DOGS. He apparently was picked on by the male dogs in his former home, and has a bit of a chip on his shoulder as a result. He is not aggressive at all, but does tend to react defensively when approached or challenged by a male dog. This likely could be worked on with some time and a knowledgeable, patient owner. Tucker knows basic obedience, walks well on a leash, and is housetrained. Behaves nicely while being bathed and groomed. Tucker, as with all sporting breed dogs, will need a large, securely fenced yard to play in when he is not inside with his family. He will come to you freshly groomed, current on all vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventative, microchipped, and ready to love you for the rest of your life! Transport assistance is available at adopter's expense. PLEASE, Fill out an Application. We are all volunteers and CANNOT ANSWER OTHER INQUIRIES without having an application on file.
